Frequently Asked Questions
How does the "Match Weight" contest work?
A: The match weight contest has a few moving parts but in the end is very simple. This contest idea has been borrowed from similar contest that have been used in bass tournaments for years. If your weight matches the weight provided to the Chamber by the promotional company prior to the contest's beginning - You Win!
Here's how it works:
A hunter may purchase a ticket at anytime during the season. One ticket will give the hunter the opportunity to enter two deer into the contest. At the end of the season the chamber will draw one name out the hunters who have turned a deer in to the match weight contest. The hunter selected will automatically win a $250 gift card from Mike Scotts Outdoors. At that time the hunter has an opportunity to win the grand prize. The promotional company will have already provided the chamber with a two digit number - If the last two digits of the hunters recorded weight match the two digit number provided by the promotional company the hunter will win the grand prize.
Odds of being selected from the pool of hunters will vary depending on how many hunters actually turn a deer into one of our weigh locations. The odds of winning the grand prize once selected are 1/100.
Weigh Locations: DG&K Wild Game Processing (Brewton) and Robinson Wild Game Processing (Evergreen)
